After a big win, you can be waited on.

After a big win, you can be waited on.

It starts in February, when pitchers and catchers report. We all get excited for another great season of baseball. From the early months of April and May where it’s still relatively cold. To the warm summer days of the pennant races where we get excited that maybe our team could make the playoffs this season. To the month of September, where your favorite team loses it all to a team that was 10.5 games behind them in the last week of August. Sure it hurts as a Braves fan, but to see the St. Louis Cardinals go all the way and win the World Series, it’s fun to see as a baseball fan. As I’m writing this I am thinking back of how great of a season it was, and how I’ll miss baseball for the next few months. Another great MLB season is in the books, and it was sure a dandy. From all the great plays, to Boston and Atlanta both choking, and Tampa Bays miraculous comeback against the Yankees, to the Cardinals making the playoffs and beating the two best teams in the National League to go to the World Series, and defeat the defending AL Champion Rangers to win their 11th World Series. As Joe Buck said, “What a team, what a ride. The Cardinals are World Champions in Two-Thousand Eleven”
This was the best MLB Season I’ve witnessed so far, and this will defenitly be one that I can tell my children about. The 2011 MLB Season, I witnessed History.

Braves are out, I jumped on this Brewers bandwagon. One of the reasons I love baseball. The legend that is, Tony Plush.
